Booking Policies for Santa
Because of the demand for my services, especially during November and December, I have had to adopt certain policies to ensure fairness to all involved, including me.
- Fees: My fees vary depending on the day, time, and number of children/guests. I must ask for more when I am invited to large parties and events or those that last more than than an hour (including travel time to your event). I also charge extra for weekends, night parties (after 9PM), Christmas Eve and Christmas Day visits.
- Travel Expenses: I do charge for my travel expenses when I must travel over thirty (30) miles to get from my current location to your event. This means that if I am in Ohio and your event is in say, Vermont, I will add my travel expenses. But if I'm in Nashua, NH and you are in Tyngsboro, MA, I will not. Travel expenses must be paid in advance of travel.
- Deposits: Because I must turn away other potential clients for times when I am already booked, I must have a deposit before any home visit booking is considered definate. Too many people have cancelled or changed their times when I could have booked others during those slots. To solidify your visit, please use the botton (below) to make a deposit of at least 50% of the calculated charge by postal mail to Sal Lizard (address above) or through my PayPal service button below.
- Postponing Events: While I understand that circumstances may require that you re-echedule an event, I must honor those clients who have previously scheduled my time, first. If you have to re-schedule,check my calendar and let me know as soon as possible. If I can re-book the time from your cancellation, I will re-apply your deposit to the new date.
- Refunds: Deposits are not refunded unless I can recover the time with another client and only when there is sufficient notice.
- All bookings are considered "tentative" and still "available" unless secured by a deposit (indicated by a single check mark). (Deposit checks may be mailed to my helper Sal Lizard at the above address or through the Paypal button below.)
- Movies, Parades, and other Special Apperances: In the case of a career-enhancing opportunity, scheduled visits may be cancelled or re-scheduled. If appropriate and available, "stand-ins" may be provided. If cancellation is necessary, a full refund will be provided.
Steps for Booking Santa
It's as easy as 1, 2, 3.
- Check the Santa's Special Visit List to see if your desired date and time is available.
- Fill out the Santa's Special Visit Request Form. You can also send an email to Santa or use one of his helpers listed above to reserve your date and time
- Secure your date and time by making a deposit through my PayPal button below.
